Lompiang…
a word created in SMAP Kajang in the early 90s for people from north of Malaysia’s peninsular (penang, kedah & perlis).
anyone that speak with north accent will be called lompiang.

The origin of the word in derrived from the word Kuih Lompang and the Lompiang word is actually the way those people in the diner (smapkajang) speak.

student : ” bang!! arinie kuih apa?”
Diner: ” kuih lompiang!!!”
